Properties

Game-On Soil Conditioners can dramatically improve the health and durability of sports turf and lawns. By providing adequate drainage, reducing nutrient loss, improving moisture retention, enhancing soil resiliency, and increasing resistance to compaction, Game-On helps to create and maintain optimum turf performance.

Material Weights

Pounds Per Cubic Foot = 48

Weight Per Cubic Yard = 1296

Kilograms Per Cubic Meter = 769

haydite granuleGame-On is specifically manufactured for its unique features. Each Game-On particle contains thousands of tiny pores that wick excess water away from soil and turf. Game-On is produced by expanding and vitrifying selected shale (Haydite) in a rotary kiln at temperatures in excess of 2000°F. This process makes Game-On sterile and environmentally inert. It is not a chemical. It is a natural, non-toxic, highly absorptive ceramic granule with a generally neutral pH. The material is dimensionally stable and will not degrade or compress like other sports field conditioners. Game-On is safe for the field and safe for the players. Game-On becomes a permanent part of the field and does not need to be reapplied year after year

Grow Stronger Roots – Game-On reduces compaction that leads to a shallow root zone and poor water infiltration. Game-On has a porous structure and strong particle integrity. When incorporated into the soil, Game-On provides needed porosity and air space to the root.

Increase Water Use Efficiency – Game-On absorbs water and nutrients allowing for less run off. Water and nutrients are held by each particle and are slowly released back into the soil and root zone, as needed, promoting healthier root growth.

Improve Playability – Game-On reduces athletic field problems such as compaction and moisture content. In conjunction with a core aeration and topdressing program, Game-On increases the stability and water infiltration of your turf. You will notice fewer problems due to variable weather and playing conditions.
